Summary of Position:

We are seeking a Salesforce / Solution Architect with strong experience in Salesforce CPQ  implementations. The ideal candidate will work closely with our clients, technology vendors and internal delivery teams in delivering robust and scalable solutions for our clients. As the Solutions Architect, the candidate will be accountable for managing the successful delivery of solution enhancements, upgrades, and implementation as defined by the technical architect. The candidate should be able to identify clients’ high-level business needs and lead the creation of business value cases using industry experience and leading best practices. The candidate should have strong Communication Skills, project management skills, and experience. This role will lead and mentor over admins & developers to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

The Salesforce CPQ Architect will provide both pre and post sales solutions consulting focused around large scale CPQ and Billing digital transformation engagements. You will be responsible for working closely with sales professionals, clients, and delivery teams to:

  • Understand the client’s business needs and gather requirements
  • Architect / Design Salesforce CPQ / Campaign to Cash solutions that meet customer needs
  • Present these solutions to key stakeholders, executives and technical leads
  • Build business cases and deliver effective value propositions, clearly showing how solutions will help customers meet their business needs
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure that the engagement is delivered on time, within budget, and meets or exceeds customer’s expectations
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Skills, Experience, and Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the following:
  • Leading cloud-based technology transformations
  • Managing complex projects, including scoping, creating/ driving project plans, tracking the risks, issues, and mitigating actions that threaten business-as-usual operations
  • Designing Lead to Cash processes across Sales, Quoting, Order Management, Billing
  • Managing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors

Minimum 3 years of experience with the following:

  • Emerging QTC technologies (e.g. Apttus, CloudSense, Salesforce CPQ, Vlocity)
  • Cloud-based solutions and how they can fit into a client’s larger application ecosystem

Preferred experience:

  • Certified Salesforce CPQ specialist
  • Understands the software delivery lifecycle and has implemented it in an Agile environment
  • Ability to clearly understand and communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
  • Candidate should have a good understanding of business processes and Salesforce functionality across Sales, Service, Marketing and QTC
  • Candidate should be comfortable identifying key business processes, documenting process maps, defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, managing design and prototyping/testing project phases i.e. designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions.
  • Excellent business analysis skills coupled with very strong communication skills and habits, demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and proactive thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills.
